Choosing Webinar Software

With webinars increasing in usage and profile, you might be confused about how to choose from all the different webinar software out there. Is it all basically the same? No, there are differences between the different webinar hosting vendors and their software. So you do indeed need to know what to look for.

Always look for desktop sharing in any webinar software. This is in fact one of the absolute most important parts of any webinar presentation. Desktop sharing lets you take control of another audience member's computer desktop and open folders or move objects, and likewise they can do the same with you. All of this is predicated upon the idea that you as the host will allow it; what's important is that you have that option. Webinars are supposed to be dynamic.

Your chosen webinar hosting vendor should also be able to integrate with all of the hottest communications and applications software like the latest and greatest IM and VoIP and e-mail programs' options. You should not have to reinvent the wheel to get a webinar hosting vendor on your desktop. They are supposed to cater to you, remember.

You are supposed to be involved with webinars partly because of flexibility. You should be able to host a meeting at any time throughout the world. If you have a vendor who is saying that you have any limits on time of hosting or limits of global reach, you should drop them and get another vendor.

Some business owners decide to take price-per-minute deals that offer freedom from flat rates or contracts in hosting their webinars. These deals might work, but only for people who are unsure how to integrate webinars into their existing business model or people who just don't plan to use them much. In other words, these deals have their place, but the odds are not with you. Flat rates paid up-front come with the benefit of lower cost in the long run if you use the webinar hosting service with any frequency; and if you're not going to use it with frequency you should probably ask yourself why you are using it in the first place. Yes, webinars are pretty much an all-or-nothing thing.

Let's be very clear: any webinar service that doesn't offer full audio-visual integration and support is not a service that you want to be paying for. Webinars are supposed to be multimedia sensations, not just time-lagged visual post-productions or audio-dominated. You should be hearing everyone in real-time and seeing all in conjunction with all else. Do you want to be in the 21st century or not?

Webinar software should also be not only easy to use, but easy to install as well. The whole point of this technology is to make things easier, faster, and cheaper. It doesn't do any good if this stuff is impossible to install or understand. If the software is not easy to use, it's likely that it's not worth using in the first place. Don't bother with it.

Credit Card Debt Management: Lating Out Your Cards!

Purchasing clothes, household items, cars and even funding your holidays on credit is fast catching up with becoming a necessity today. Paying for your expenses on credit is unnecessary more often than not. However, there certainly are emergencies that can justify credit scenarios. These could include a sudden accident, an unforeseen redundancy, a late pay cheque, an overdue bill at the end of the month or any such financial crisis. But I'm still talking about the possible need for a credit card in the singular - i.e. 1 single credit card for urgent situations; not so many of them that you actually lose track of how many you own.

The usage of credit cards is increasing at an alarming rate and to make matters worse, people often own 4 and 5 credit cards at the same time. The more cards you own, the more you can borrow no doubt, but have you ever looked at it this way - "the more cards you own, the more you have to pay and further in debt you land yourself in?" For those of you who have experienced the "Mr. Hyde side" of credit cards and have got entangled in the Credit Card debt maze, here's something to help you get out - Credit Card Debt Management.

Why do you fall into Credit Card Debt?

o Swimming along the tide, many of us own 5 and 6 credit cards of which most simply add weight to our wallets.

o Before signing up for a new credit card, how often does the interest rate draw your attention? Almost never and even if it does do you realise what a high interest rate is? The interest charged on credit card bills are exorbitant, leading to huge bills, half of which is nothing but interest.

o Credit Cards create need even when there isn't any. A shopping list turns into a shopping book in no time because buying on credit makes you feel like your not actually paying for it and more importantly you lose track of how much you're spending - leading to excess and unnecessary spends.

o Credit Card fraud and scams can easily extract money from your account without you even getting a hint of it.

All such situations lead to large Credit Card bills, which we often cannot afford. Pending bills accumulate interest and before you know it you'll be knee deep in Credit Card Debt. Even though it seems you've hit rock bottom, there are a lot of people just like you sailing in the same boat - all of whom need Credit Card Debt Management.

Credit Card Debt Management is nothing but a more manageable way of dealing with credit card debt. Here you work with an expert who studies your debt - how far in debt you are, your spending and saving habits, etc. He then works to pay off your debt either by Credit Card Debt Consolidation, Credit Card Debt Negotiation and finally eliminates your debt for you. Remember, he helps you reduce debt but doesn't do it for you. You need to make a low monthly payment to the agency during the debt elimination process.

Credit Card Debt Management does not end here, your agent will work with you to help you stay out of debt i.e. credit counselling. During this you work on a strict budget - with no extravagant spends, no unnecessary bills, etc. Your credit card accounts too are usually closed. Credit Card Debt Management assists you in spending wisely and makes you make a conscious effort to stay out of debt for good. The result, however, is upto you.

How to Create Your Own Info Product

In the last article we talked about why informational products are the best type of products to sell online. An informational product can be a digital book (known as an e-book), a digital report or a white paper, a piece of software, audio or video files, a web site, an ezine (electronic magazine), or a newsletter.

Any product that's informational, instructional, or educational in nature can be considered an info product.

If you missed the last article you might want to un-line your birdcage long enough to read it first so that you have a thorough understanding of what we'll be discussing this week, which is how to create your own info product.

As covered in detail last article, here are a few of the reasons why information is the best product to sell online:

· It's fast to create, fast to market

· There's no inventory to stock

· The startup costs are low

· You can automate the sales and delivery process

· There are no shipping and handling charges

One of the best things about information products is that you don't need a product designer or a manufacturing plant to crank out the goods. You also don't have to spend months and months doing product development.

If you have a computer and a word processing program you have everything you need to create a best-selling info product in a very short amount of time.

Great, you say, but I'm no writer. How the heck can I get into the information business? The good news is you don't have to be a great writer to create a great info product. If you don't have the ability to create the product yourself there are several avenues you can take to info product success.

Co-author with a writer

In my opinion, expert knowledge is much harder to come by than great writing skills. If you are an expert on a subject that people will pay to learn about, you just need a good writer to take your expert knowledge and put it in a salable form.

I know many subject matter experts who can't write their names in the snow and many excellent writers who don't have the expert knowledge required to create an informational product that will sell. Co-authoring can be a match made in Heaven if an equitable co-authoring arrangement can be made. Co-authoring means that you both get credit for creating the product and share in the revenues.

If you are an expert on a topic, but not a writer, find a writer to co-author the project with you. Conversely, if you're a writer without specific knowledge, find a subject matter expert and partner with them to create the product.

Hire a ghost writer

A ghost writer is someone who will write the ebook for you anonymously, with the writing credits going solely to you. You supply the expertise and guidance and the ghost writer puts it in a readable format. You can hire ghost writers on an hourly basis or for a flat fee, depending on the scope of the project.

There is no shame in using a ghost writer to put your thoughts to digital paper. You don't really think all those pro athletes and Hollywood actresses can write 300 page books now, do you?

Publish a directory

Can't think of a subject that you're qualified to write about? Try compiling a directory. A directory is nothing more than a listing of specialized information that you target market to a particular segment of the buying public. For example, my company publishes a dropship and wholesale industry directory that is a listing of company names, addresses, phone numbers, and website addresses. I simply have someone research the industry and compile their findings in a directory format, package it nicely, and sell it online for $27.

Sign on with an affiliate program and sell their info products

There are thousands of companies that sell informational products and most have affiliate programs that you can sign on with. Becoming an affiliate basically means you become a reseller of the company's products. You promote the product, you make the sale, the company delivers the product, and you earn a commission.

The key to creating a successful info product is this: the information must be worth far more than the price of the ebook itself. If you're charging $27 for your product, it must give the buyer many times that price in perceived value.

I asked info product expert Jim Edwards, co-Author of "How To Write and Publish Your Own eBook in as little a 7 Days" for his advice on how to create a killer info product.

Here are Jim's Top 5 Tips:

· Niche It - Make sure you are targeting a highly defined niche audience... don't try to sell to everyone. You can get a lot more money showing life insurance agents how to find more customers to buy $250,000 policies than you can trying to sell a product on generic sales skills improvement.

· Hit Their Pain - Make sure your info product hits a painful problem that members of your target audience will do just about ANYTHING to solve. The more intense the pain, the more they're willing to pay to get rid of it.

· Give Them A Taste - Give people a taste of what you offer in your info-product by giving them a sample. Just like the wholesale clubs get you to buy tater-tots in a 50 lb. bag by giving you one to try, you can induce people to buy your information by letting them read the first chapter or listen to the first few minutes of an audio.

· Entertain Them - People hate to be bored. Increase the power of your product by adding humor, drama and other entertainment elements that make them want more and more. This will not only help with future sales to satisfied customers, it will also keep your refunds down and increase word of mouth advertising.

· Keep it Evergreen - Don't make the mistake of creating a product that hits a fad or a fleeting market. Create info-products that can be updated with very little effort. This allows you to create a product once and keep the sales rolling in for years (literally) to come!

MS-13 is a Real Threat - They Are Serious, Powerful and Have the Numbers to Raise Hell

Most folks that live in America do not fully comprehend the MS-13 Gang, but regardless we are all effected in some way by their actions and endeavors. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is working with local jurisdictions in nearly every state in the US to try to stop this entrenched group. How are they doing? Well, they have wins now and again, but the reality is MS-13 is not your typical "bad boy" group, and they are everywhere now.

Perhaps, you'd like to read more, and read a book that will keep you up at night? If so, let me recommend a great read, a reality check, and an overwhelming challenge to law enforcement. The book is called:

"This Is for the Mara Salvatrucha: Inside the MS-13, America's Most Violent Gang," by Samuel Logan; Hyperion Book Publishers; New York, NY; 2009; ISBN: 978-1401323240.

A comprehensive look at the notorious and ruthless MS-13 gang, and their strength on the streets of the Americas; and how their agility and net-centric operations are making it nearly impossible to control, this book will scare the hell out of you.

There are stories in the book of the MS-13 gang in Virginia, and a very high profile case there. The author takes us inside the gang to see how they operate and why it is so hard to do anything about them. This group is into everything, they run huge drug rings, do kidnappings, and have prostitution rings. But that's merely as start.

Many law enforcement officers in LA admit that MS-13 owns the streets of LA, and the gang is so massive and recruiting so fast, its hard just to keep track of them, much less stop them. The author believes they will totally blow the doors off the Mafia. I think you will enjoy this book.

Dog Dominance - 8 Ways To Take Control Of Your Dog

Dogs live and survive in packs. They establish a social hierarchy where the pack leader is known as the alpha. The existence of such a hierarchy enforces social stability within the pack. Dogs are social creatures that are loyal and playful. The instinctive need to accept domination and their loyalty make dogs trainable by humans.

In your home, your family is your dog's pack. Your actions will determine whether he is at the top or bottom level in your household. You must establish yourself as the leader and your dog, the follower. Otherwise, he naturally takes over the leadership. Instead of a fun and loving dog, he can be a menace. He growls or bites at someone who makes him do something against his will. He respects certain family members but dominates others. He is aggressive and guards his food. Most dog owners are not aware that they are contributing to their dog's dominance as they do not understand dog's behaviours.

These are steps that you can take to establish yourself as the alpha.

1. In a dog pack, sub-ordinate pack members respect the alpha dog for being firm but fair, and making good decisions for the pack. The alpha dog does not maintain its position by fear and violence. Likewise, you reinforce your dominance over your dog using non-aggressive means. When giving commands to him, stand tall and speak firmly to display authority and confidence. He can sense your leadership manner and looks up to you as the alpha.

2. Your dog must learn the most important command SIT and this should be used as part of everyday training. Tell him to sit and wait before you play with him, feed him or take him for a walk. If he wants anything or you are giving him something, tell him to sit and wait first. If he obeys, praise and reward him accordingly. If he disobeys, ignore him and give him nothing. Try the SIT command again later. Never reward him until he obeys your command. You want to show him that you are in charge.

3. As the leader of a pack always eats first, you must eat before him. Do not feed him from your plate during a meal. Stick to his regular feeding times.

4. Do not walk around your dog. If you do, you are behaving submissively and he thinks he is the alpha. If he is lying in the middle of your doorway, make him move by nudging with your foot but never step over him.

5. Do not make your dog equal to you by letting him sleep in your bed or on your couch. He must be your sub-ordinate and never equal. He therefore sleeps in his own bed, on the floor.

6. Do not let your dog go through the doorway first. If he has the habit of charging past you, put him on a leash. Before opening a door, tell him to sit and wait. You walk through first and then tell him to COME after you.

7. Do not play tug-of-war, wrestle or rough-house with your dog. These are fun but rough and powerful games. If he wins or overpowers you, he has proven to be stronger than you. You must avoid giving him any opportunity to "win" as this reinforces dominance over you.

8. You initiate and end affection. Although it is good to show love and affection to your dog, you don't want to give in to his whims. Limit yourself from petting your dog. You only pet your dog when you want, not when he demands for it. Beware of dogs that are always asking for something such as more petting, more playing, more cuddling and so forth. Ignore their requests.

You must train your dog with consistency. He will come to accept you as the leader when you show him his place within your family's pecking order and what's expected from him. A well-trained dog is a respectful and delightful companion to you and your family.
